Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in social work, psychology, or related field or 5 years of experience with homelessness

Experience in case management or supportive housing (preferred)

Passion for helping others and promoting housing stability

Front Desk Hospitality- Housing First Team Member
Impact: You are a familiar face among the Team of folks dedicated to ending and preventing homelessness. As a floater, you would also be a familiar face who aids formerly homeless neighbors in our permanent supportive housing apartments.
Daily Tasks: As our Housing-First Team Member you will assist neighbors housed in permanent supportive housing with questions and issues, greet neighbors and visitors and monitor the property.
Requirements:

Solid written and verbal skills
-
Empathy along with personal and professional boundaries while working with a diverse population in an inclusive environment. Must have sensitivity to differences in culture, religion, sexual orientation, gender identity and expression, race, age, and physical and mental illness.

Proficiency in using Microsoft Outlook, Work, Excel and other applications specific to homelessness that will require provided training.

Will work some holidays.

Evening, night and weekend shifts only.
Dental Assistant
VMC Dental Clinic serves the low-income, uninsured people of Knox County. We are looking for a Part-time Dental Assistant. This Dental Assistant must be certified or registered in the State of TN with x-ray certification. VMC Dental Assistants work with a variety of paid and volunteer dentists, so flexibility is key.
